Wellsville

OK fam, here is the lowdown on blogs. They can be very cool and are a good way to update the entire family on important news, juicy tidbits, downright hysterical anecdotes, and so forth. And the beauty of it all is that it is very simple and easy to do. No fear cavalier, I am going to offer a quick and sufficient tutorial on how you can be involved in this wonder of the communication era. Mom, others, print this off and follow.

1. Heather sent out another invite to all the family via email. In your email inbox it will likely be entitled "Blogger Invites". To join the blog all you have to do is open it up, click on the link in blue, then click on "accept invitation". Don't be rude and click "reject invitation". You will then create a username and password. Be as creative as you like, but make it easily memorable.

2. Now you have joined. Welcome. At this point and for future access you will log in using your username and password at www.blogger.com. Once you have logged on you will see your Dashboard which has listed the blogs you have joined (i.e., Wellsville). Click on the blog you would like to go to (i.e., Wellsville).

3. When you are here you can choose to "create new post". Click on that.

4. Give post a title.

5. Type in your two cents on whatever you think is appropriate for the entire family to know about or even discuss. You can add a picture if you want by clicking on the picture icon inbetween the abc checkmark and the eraser.

6. When you feel your post is satisfactory and that it is representative of what you were trying to express, click "publish post".

7. If you are at all inclined to comment on anyones post, simply click on where it might say "3 comment" just below the post. If you are logged in, simply type under "leave your comment" your comment and click "login and publish". This will automatically publish it if you are already in fact logged in.

Congrats you have all passed. I believe these instructions are quite accurate, however, they may have some minor flaws. If so, go to and figure out where I went wrong and forge ahead. Blogging is not challenging and I am quite certain we can all be a little more involved. Thanks Lisa, Heather and Nate so far for taking the opportunity to actually post and comment. Even the excuse of "not enough time" isn't valid because blogging doesn't have to take up the entire evening, it takes maybe less than two minutes to read the most current posts and comments. October 7th was the 30th annual SG Marathon and our family made a splendid showing with Heather and Riley coming in at 3:41:38 and 4:09:16, respectively and respectfully. Good job, guys!
The night before Heat told me to expect her around 4:20 and so when after only being at Aaron and Sara's finish line breakfast for 5 minutes, I was a little surprised to get a call from the Heatons saying she was looking good keeping pace with the 3:40 balloons. Asa was elated to see his mom come across the finish line and was probably wondering why she wasn't pushing him. Heather claims her key to feeling so good for this marathon was her consistent training with Asa in his jogging stroller. (This is harder than you might think. The week before, Heat, Ned (bro-in-law), Asa, and I ran up Cedar Canyon. I pushed Asa the first mile, after which Heat took over for the next three, just so I could keep up.)
The next day we tagged along with mom and dad down to LV for Samuel's blessing. It was a really special blessing and the testimony meeting thereafter was made extra special thanks to the Salter family's participation. Thanks Jenny and Dave for the wonderful feast and goodie bags.

Wellz and I are trying to decide what to be for Halloween. We have three ideas so far. Vote for your favorite:
1. John Lennon and Yoko
2. Siegfried and Roy
3. Mcdonald's characters

Asa could easily be:
1. Julien Lennon
2. White Tiger
3. Baby Hamburglar

Last year we were Emmanuel and Elizabeth Smart. Really easy costumes.
